Air hockey tables come in various sizes and qualities, in my experience the minimum size to go for is 4ft in length. Many people play this game in an arcade and think a 4ft table will give them the same 'arcade feel' - not so as the arcade tables are at least 6ft long and sometimes 8ft! The weight of a table can give some indication of the build quality. If you need it to fold away then you need folding legs. Some cheap tables are non motorized which is no use at all as the puck sticks to the table and you would soon loose interest in the game.
